Kavas Yachting is a yacht charter company in Greece founded in 1985 by Vangelis Kavas, a former Naval Officer. Driven by his passion for the sea, sailing and yachting, Kavas decided to create a yacht charter company that would meet the needs and requirements of clients, both Greek and foreigners. The philosophy of E. Kavas, as he describes it is “if you want to do something right, do it yourself”.
Kavas Yacht Charter is based in Athens, in Alimos Marina and features 40 yachts that range from monohulls of 30-45 ft to monohulls of 46-61 ft and catamarans. Alimos Marina serves the Saronic Gulf and the Western Cyclades, but Kavas Yachts also works in Marina of Kos, covering the Eastern Cyclades, Turkish coast and the Dodecanese, and Lefkas Marina, covering the Ionian Islands and the Western coastline of Greece, as well as Croatia.
Chartering a yacht with Kavas Yacht Charter in Greece, clients can go on bareboat cruise if they want to be independent and plan their own itinerary, flotilla sailing, or opt for crewed yachts and cabin cruises in charter yachts if they are not that experienced in sailing or not familiar with the challenging Greek Seas.
